Role for Initiative: Improvisation and Role-Playing Games

Looking for a fun way to learn and polish improv skills with other people? Do you like tabletop role-playing games (RPGs) like Dungeons and Dragons, Call of Cthulhu, or Kids on Bikes? Do you want to be a more confident roleplayer? Do you want to create dynamic, compelling characters? If the answer to any of these questions is “yes,” Role for Initiative is for you. No experience is required with stage improv or with RPGs. Both improv artists and gamers are welcome! Learn the basics of improv and the starter rules of a few RPG’s, as we go on group adventures in class. Fun for performers and adventurers alike!

Our Teen summer classes are for students who are currently in grades 6-12 as of May 2026. All teen classes will take place at Miners Alley Performing Arts Center, 1101 Miners Alley, in Golden. Families who register students for multiple teen classes will receive a multi-class discount.
