Instructor Bio:
Brian Landis Folkins is a veteran acting instructor and committed character actor who embodies the philosophy that the work is the thing—and a career is a marathon, not a sprint. With over 30 years in the industry, Brian is noted for his extremely broad range in creating diverse and believable characters, finding the emotional truth in every role. His versatility is demonstrated across three decades, including his critically acclaimed lead role in the feature film RENT-A-PAL. A prolific stage actor, he won BEST ACTOR awards in both 2019 and 2024, and is an Artistic Company Member at Curious Theatre Company since 2012. With appearances in over 100 short and feature films, BLF's extensive body of work is a powerful testament to his relentless dedication to the craft.
